I met this 9 year old when I went to a used auto part store to buy a door handle for my car. He had built an elaborate arcade in his dad's store using the cardboard from the auto part boxes. He hadn't had any customers so we invited the world to play.

Nirvan's film about a chance encounter with a creative 9 year old boy's cardboard arcade, and the story of a community coming together to make his dream come true. Caine's Arcade has received over 10 million views online, and helped raise a $240,000 Scholarship fund for Caine. Shortly after the film went viral, Nirvan founded the non-profit Imagination.org to foster the creativity of children like Caine everywhere, transforming a viral movie into a global movement. Caine's Arcade 2: From a Movie to a Movement

After "Caine's Arcade" went viral, we started the Imagination Foundation & launched a Global Cardboard Challenge to foster creativity, play, and imagination in kids everywhere. UPDATE: Thanks to you, our Global Cardboard Challenge has become an annual event that has reached over 250,000 kids in 60 countries!

Inspired by the response to Caine's Arcade, Nirvan founded the Imagination.org , and directed this video to launch the first annual Global Cardboard Challenge, culminating in a Global Day of Play designed to foster the creativity of kids like Caine around the world. Imagination has continued to grow, engaging over 750,000 kids in 80 countries in Creative Play. Imagination has partnered with Google, AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Disney, National Head Start and more to foster creativity in kids, supports over 100 Imagination Chapters around the world, and was named a Champion in the Ashoka/Lego Foundation Re-Imagine Learning Challenge.
