Fish I. Guy would be an ordinary teenager, if it weren't for his two giant fish eyes, one on each side of his large pancake-like head.

His fish eyes cause him to see in two different directions at once, but prevent him from seeing what is directly in front of him!

Consequently, Fish has a very unique way of seeing the world- he can literally see things in a way no one else can, but he often misses the simple things that should be obvious... you know, those things that are often right in front of your face.

project status:

Fish I. Guy was developed by nirvan into a completely original animated television series. The character was developed from Nirvan's first film: 'Fish Eye Guy and Why the Trees Died' made in 1997 as part of his undergraduate philosophy thesis while studying at New College in Sarasota, FL.

'Fish Eye Guy and Why the Trees Died' was optioned by Nelvana who commisioned nirvan to develop the original show. The project serious developed interest with Dicney, nut Disney and Nelvana could not reach an agreement. Nelvana's option has since expired and the project is in turn around.

nirvan has also developed a feature treatment based on the character.
