nirvan's bio:

Nirvan Mullick is an award winning filmmaker whose animated short films have screened in film festivals worldwide, from Cannes to Slamdance, winning numerous awards, including the AFI FEST 2003 Audience Award.

Nirvan began working on The 1 Second Film while studying Experimental Animation at CalArts. The project has since expanded into a non-profit global collaboration produced by thousands of people around the world. Nirvan formed The Collaboration Foundation to carry out a 5 Phase Plan to expand The 1 Second Film into non-profit sequels that will use collaborative art to address various social-issues.

Commercially, Nirvan has directed the stop-motion title-sequence for New Line's Willard, developed an original animated series for Nelvana, and has written two live-action feature films, including The Man in the Flying Lawnchair which is being produced by Michael Besman (About Schmidt). Nirvan lives in Los Angeles, where he is currently completing The 1 Second Film.
